Episode summary: Dr. Robb Kelly came from a family of alcoholics, falling into alcoholism himself. When he drank, he felt like he could take on anything.
He drank and then auditioned to be a bass player for several bands. Not remembering he auditioned, he received a job offer from one of those bands.
That proved to him that he was better when drinking, so keep it up. With more drinking, came more problems though. He lost everything, his job, his wife, his kids, and his home.
Dr. Robb Kelly was out on the streets, drinking and wishing his life would end. It wasn’t until he had a spiritual awakening that his life turned around.
He was ready to get better, he was ready to kick drinking to the curb for good and was ready to help others overcome their addictions.

[Nick McGowan]: get into the background and really someof the wisdom that you’ve kind of figured
[Nick McGowan]: out over the course of time soi don’t want to steal thunder man why

[Nick McGowan]: that most people don’t know about youthat’s may be odd or bizarre
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: what i do for living is i’ma doctor specialized in addiction and trauma and
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: mind set so i have five practicesaround the world pretty well known
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: deal with high and it’s so yeahjust have a good un alcoholic myself you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: lost everything [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: what [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: most people don’t know about me isi used to be the base player abby
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: road studios in london yes where thebeetles
[Nick McGowan]: nice [Dr. Robb Kelly]: played i’ve played with and john davidboy queen and i was actually ups in
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: the savoy hotel in the pence suitewhen that famous phone call from elton gone
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: start next to him down to the [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: manager of the hotel asking if hedoesn’t stop the rain on deetle will not
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: back [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: into this hotel ever again [Nick McGowan]: oh man that is cool that isnot something that would just typically come
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: up and random [Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: even bar conversation because how the funwould you get into that without somebody asking
[Nick McGowan]: you a question like that [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: so how do you get into whatyou’re doing today coming from what seems like
[Nick McGowan]: a musician’s background [Dr. Robb Kelly]: well i was born in manchester mossidemanchester be correcting the u k been in
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: america about fifteen years [Nick McGowan]: my [Dr. Robb Kelly]: but i’m an alcoholic you know [Nick McGowan]: ah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: alcoholism runs in [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: the family and i haven’t drunk forsome time now but you know it took
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: everything off me as i went throughand one of the reasons i do what
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: i [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: do where i do so passionately iswhen i was going through this stuff myself
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: and nobody was there to help menobody come up and says hey
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: listen if you do this this mighthappen everyone turned the back and i lost
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: everything man cars houses [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: children and hen homeless and you knowwhen i swore to myself and to god
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: if i ave one back of thestreets because i did my research ninety seven
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: percent of people on the gardens inmanchester die in the streets i was
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: one of the three per cents thatmade it off after fourteen months i made
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: it off the streets i’m passionate [Nick McGowan]: and [Dr. Robb Kelly]: about this ship man you know i’mreally passionate
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: boarding an aggressive sometimes if you wantto
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: get well if you want to achieveyour dreams
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: if you want to change your mindset and you’re a pathways basal ganglia and
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: hypothalamist and your guy if you don’tgo away i’m not interested in
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you [Nick McGowan]: i mean it makes sense that iget as you go through ship and life
[Nick McGowan]: and you figure things out you becomedeeply passionate about it because of the fucking
[Nick McGowan]: craziness you’ve been through so i heardifferent people at times say they’ve been through
[Nick McGowan]: some of the thing but they haven’tfully processed through it and you can
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: tell that it didn’t really affect themin such
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: a way to move them [Dr. Robb Kelly]: ye [Nick McGowan]: so i love when i have peopleon that are that are moving in such
[Nick McGowan]: a way now you talk about beingfrom manchester it’s like they’re with the overall
[Nick McGowan]: speed of people i’m from the northeast of the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: ah [Nick McGowan]: u s and philadelphia and we typicallyfucking move pretty quickly and we’re typically pretty
[Nick McGowan]: passionate [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: people so i’m akin to that ifeel where you’re going yeah one of the
[Nick McGowan]: biggest things that really stood out evenbringing it on to the show was the
[Nick McGowan]: alcoholism that runs in the family ithink a lot of people
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: m [Nick McGowan]: don’t want to suck and look atthat
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: no [Nick McGowan]: they don’t want to think about theirmom or dad or whoever being an alcoholic
[Nick McGowan]: because then that not only reflects onthem poorly but it also points out that
[Nick McGowan]: they’re probably an alcoholic too did youhave struggles that you’re going through that or
[Nick McGowan]: just you basically got to the endof the road and you’re standing on the
[Nick McGowan]: street going [Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: funk i need to do something different [Dr. Robb Kelly]: it came slowly and alcoholism trace [Nick McGowan]: okay [Dr. Robb Kelly]: wasn’t invented [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: in the seventies and eighties when iwent through it here’s a couple of things
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: you need to know guys alcoholism alcoholicare born drugs are made and alcohols one
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: percent [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: to do with alcoholism the same withdrugs is all mind sets neural
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: sciences on nur placidity so when idid lose everything and go through all that
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: i just [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: knew that somehow and i don’t knowto be honest nick how somehow i would
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: end up where i am today nowjust to
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: just to change people’s minds i buildchampions we build empires together you know the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: alcohol that’s gone from the first dayfive out of my six patients they are
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: not alcoholic or alix just guys youcan’t get through a certain level high class
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: it cos [Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: and checking them to the next levelbecause if you mix in your own science
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: with quintet physics which is we doin your own placidity with brain spotting you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: realize and here we go [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: guys that you can have anything youwant in life and that i have a
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: cool video that shows live inside somebody’sbrain of the neural pathways k to you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: said the our [Nick McGowan]: my [Dr. Robb Kelly]: pathways and most people don’t know thisfor success for wealth for joyment for happy
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: for families everything is already in yourbrain what most people never do in the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: life is they never connect if [Nick McGowan]: connect [Dr. Robb Kelly]: we specialize [Nick McGowan]: it yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: it in connecting the mural pathways therest is easy
[Nick McGowan]: so having some initial conversation [Dr. Robb Kelly]: m [Nick McGowan]: with somebody and i’m not expecting youto give secret sauce
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: m [Nick McGowan]: but again some sort of tactical [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: take away for this what would yousuggest for somebody that’s thinking through that now
[Nick McGowan]: but not ready to have that converseand with somebody like yourself what can they
[Nick McGowan]: do on their own [Dr. Robb Kelly]: well just believe in yourself first ofall and then just watch your behavior you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: know you can change when you startchanging other people eyes by compliment them by
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: saying hello whatever it may [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: be then you start to change ourself you will know when you’re ready we
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: turn people down more people down thanwe do take on you
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: have to be ready for certain thingsand don’t
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: let anybody tell you different don’t letanybody force you into anything that’s not going
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: to work right now [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: because it will sit in the subconsciousbrain as a failure some failures are good
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: you get back up again [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: but with mind set you’ve got tobe real careful
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: on tex so many hits the tintsbefore every single time that self savasade will
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: kick off and the internal dialogue willkick off in your head every couple of
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: days couple last month whatever it isand it will
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: destroy you because if i keep tellingyou every day you’re a piece of ship
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: guess what you’re gonna start [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: to fucking believe it [Nick McGowan]: yeah yeah and i think too manyof us we just beat the ship out
[Nick McGowan]: of ourselves for almost no good fuckingreason we just kind of beat the hell
[Nick McGowan]: out of ourselves and it’s been broughtup so many different times but if you
[Nick McGowan]: had a friend or an acquaintance thattalk to you a way that you talk
[Nick McGowan]: to yourself [Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: you’d have a restraining order against themyou would have to
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: they’re fucking crazy so [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: let’s take a little bit of astep back though when
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: you’re musician a muse and as welli think drugs alcohol sex all of that
[Nick McGowan]: just kind [Dr. Robb Kelly]: ye [Nick McGowan]: of goes along with [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: the instruments at times so [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: being able to step outside [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: of that was that [Dr. Robb Kelly]: ah [Nick McGowan]: really when you were still in intothe music side things or were you far
[Nick McGowan]: out of that at that point [Dr. Robb Kelly]: now while i was deep in myaddiction to abby road i was deep in
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: my addiction homeless i was deep inmy addiction at college university you know it
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: kind of gets a grip out ofthe without you see what happened i’ll be
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: rove i went for an audition forhe have space player and i had a
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: bar for i went was so nervousthe bear gave me courage went and
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: got a second one second time iwent there i had two bears for the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: second interview make sense to me igot it on the
[Nick McGowan]: uh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: first one i had seven auditions forthat
[Nick McGowan]: h [Dr. Robb Kelly]: position so i had seven bears fori went in for my audition don’t remember
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: it black outcome next day i wokeup in my bedroom at home and i
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: got a letter a week later sayyou got the job what does that tell
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: me tells me when i [Nick McGowan]: it [Dr. Robb Kelly]: drink [Nick McGowan]: works [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i’m sucking awesome you [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: know and that’s how it gets youon ovesod it
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: starts turning on you and you’re doneabsolutely done and again one
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: percent to do with any kind ofdisease or any kind of mind set or
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: mental shift neural pathways [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: shifts all the same stuff it’s justbecause he’s an alcoholic the treatment for him
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: and [Nick McGowan]: a [Dr. Robb Kelly]: the co wants to double his incomein the next two years the treatment from
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: here is still the same because it’snot about the alcohol or drugs or cake
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: or food or pan it’s [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: about mind set and mind set only [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: and now our brains turn on theonly thing i
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: would say differently is the alcoholic brainis born with three parts different to anybody
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: else is the amiga hypophalamis and thebasal ganglia are set differently to any
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: other person in the world lcolecis reditis
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: passed down from generation to generation that’sthe only difference oh
[Nick McGowan]: so knowing that now being able tolook back at what you’ve been through and
[Nick McGowan]: that your parents must have had somealcoholism in their in their
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: ye [Nick McGowan]: lineage how do you then make thatchange outside of simple side of just become
[Nick McGowan]: aware of it and do something differentwhat can you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: ah [Nick McGowan]: actually do to make that change [Dr. Robb Kelly]: when i was going for i wasdone when i was on the streets it’s
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: taken [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: off me everything gone nobody check mycalls people would lock the door when i
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: call the police i was done ididn’t want to get off i didn’t want
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: help i was done [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: tried to commit suicide seven times andon two occasions i succeeded my heart stopped
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: on the side of an old stinkyrainy wet road in manchester the
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: suckers brought em back [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: in life are in hated them guysfor that hated them so
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: mine wasn’t a conscious decision to getwell i had a huge what they call
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: spot awakening manchester one morning in thepouring and when i was dumb i mean
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: i just couldn’t do it any morei was dumb that’s what happened
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: to me you know if you’re goingthrough anything that most people most people operate
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: on thirty thirty five per cent ofwhat they can truly operate on
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: o matter what you do for aliving how successful you are there’s thirty people
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: in the world that play at theirbest we be football rock music whatever you
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: can play a hondred percent capacity youstart to see the world for what it
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: is and you start to see howthe world works and how the patterns work
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: and that you really can have anythingthat you want s obviously a place that
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: price to pay [Nick McGowan]: yes [Dr. Robb Kelly]: for everything but [Nick McGowan]: sure [Dr. Robb Kelly]: if you want to be to seeyou are the football
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: there’s a way that you can getthat and it’s a hundred percent guarantee you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: know and that’s what we’re passionate [Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: about getting people and reuniting families towhere they need to be not where what
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: they where they was and just lifehe’s just oh god it’s monday oh god
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: it’s tuesday that’s not the way [Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: to live life an [Nick McGowan]: at [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i went [Nick McGowan]: all [Dr. Robb Kelly]: to bed last night was nineteen andwoke up this morning at sixty one that’s
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: how fast life goes you haven’t gottime
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: guys believe [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: me you haven’t [Nick McGowan]: yeah it’s an interesting balance to tryto find
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: how you can understand that you [Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: we’re all mortal you know mortal and [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yet [Nick McGowan]: we’re going to die at some pointso it’s not like we have an infinite
[Nick McGowan]: amount of time but you also wantto stress yourself the funk out how some
[Nick McGowan]: people get almost crippled by you knowi could die tomorrow or
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: okay [Nick McGowan]: i have an extended period of timei’m not going to do a damn thing
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: so being able to find that balancethere’s a sweet spot to it and it
[Nick McGowan]: takes a lot of people getting toa point where they go fuck i’ve had
[Nick McGowan]: enough i need to put something inplace here but how would you suggest that
[Nick McGowan]: somebody actually do some of that beforethey get to the point where they either
[Nick McGowan]: on the street or kids are takenaway or whatever that looks like
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: dialogue is the most important thing youknow if you’re in that mind
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: set that’s broken you need to startdialog with somebody immediately you know whether
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: it’ll be drug or whatever it isthe mind set needs changing
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you need to start dialogue that’s allyou need to start doing and then
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: when you’re ready for help you knowwe’re also a refer company or so we’re
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: only taken four patients anyone time soit’s very unlikely you’re going to get in
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: with us but we will refer youknow call the website my wife fell into
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: the phone he’ll speak to you allday long about it you know we’re here
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: to help so it’s just moving forwardand realizing that you actually
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: born for better things that than whatyou’re doing you
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: see some [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: people don’t have this shift some peopleare okay the way they’re born my brother
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: is just like my dad go wehave some cards you work for the shop
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: around the corner you can afford togo out on a friday night only just
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: enough money to get five bears andgo home to the i don’t want that
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: i don’t [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: want a isa world for what itwas or you could take anything that you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: want to take so listen if you’reat home and you want to make well
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: first of all you’re at home inthis position i want to apologize to you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: because somebody’s put that there born [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: with million dollar mine stop [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: sucking hanging around ten cent [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: lines get some get some guys around [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you show me your friends showing yourfuture start discussing
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: new problems and then get hold ofa professional callers
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: will direct but you have to dosomething and our research and studies over the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: last thirty years show of a timeframe of seven point three seconds whenever you’re
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: going to do anything that’s how thebrain works if i’m going to lay on
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: the sofa i’m eating chips and drinkingthis big
[Nick McGowan]: it [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you know soda that’s not good forme and i’m watching t and i go
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh wife i need [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: to go to the gym tomorrow [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i’m not going to go unless onething happens within that time frame i walk
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: to the bedroom i’ll get my stuffi put it in and i put it
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: near the door for the next morningnow i’m going to go to the gym
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: the next day but we procrastinate [Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: and that’s what procrastination isolation is whatwe’ve got into of the last couple of
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: years [Nick McGowan]: yeah it’s funny you bring that upi used that very often because that was
[Nick McGowan]: something [Dr. Robb Kelly]: m [Nick McGowan]: i had to do to get myselfinto the gym
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: m [Nick McGowan]: after handful of years years ago waslike i’m just going to put my ship
[Nick McGowan]: near the door and here i ambut it’s also just like on the mental
[Nick McGowan]: side it’s still a workout it’s moreof a workout mental wise and it is
[Nick McGowan]: physical because we’re constantly being worked everysingle moment
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: of the day and we tend tojust let the ship fucking roll and subconscious
[Nick McGowan]: kind of takes over and goes fromthere but we’re
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: able to actually control that so bouncingfrom where you were as a musician then
[Nick McGowan]: losing everything and kind of being onthat tough spot but now that you know
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: that the alcoholism was in you inyour blood it was
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: ye [Nick McGowan]: literally ass down to you [Dr. Robb Kelly]: m [Nick McGowan]: how does your relationship with your parentsdiffer when you know where they were and
[Nick McGowan]: kind of what they were going throughyeah
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: i kind of felt sorry from alittle bit you know
[Nick McGowan]: okay [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i hate the saying our parents didour best fuck you know they didn’t
[Nick McGowan]: not all [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i’m [Nick McGowan]: parents [Dr. Robb Kelly]: sorry [Nick McGowan]: do [Dr. Robb Kelly]: parents but nobody does [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you know let me know at nineor ten years old that we have a
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: problem in the family would have inthe best thing but it is what it
[Nick McGowan]: sure [Dr. Robb Kelly]: is i change the generational lode generation [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: people talking but you know it’s justnobody’s prepared for it when the golden boy
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: in the family too out to bean old drunk you know who stabbed his
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: wife [Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: three times one night because she wouldn’tlet him finish his but vodka that guy
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: you know it’s a disappoint to everybodywho blames who well coming through everything i’ve
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: been through i don’t think there’s anyblame
[Nick McGowan]: ah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: just think [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: that you know look [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: look at my mom and alcoholic lookat my cousin alcoholic my dad’s brother was
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: a chronic alcoholic you know cousins [Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: an alcoholic i see it in thefamily you know and
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: it’s going to ruin the family ii was like a contagious disease man i
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: infected [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: everybody that i came across with mydisease and it’s the same with with small
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: thinking and it’s the same with [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you know you get you get enoughthese full of people
[Nick McGowan]: my [Dr. Robb Kelly]: ten people in there but thriving youget one person there
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: that starts to have a dip it’slike a cancer of a sudden
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: the whole office is laid back andnot doing as much work you know so
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: that’s that’s what seems to happen inmy family but
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i don’t know [Nick McGowan]: yeah if only it was if itonly worked on the opposite side of that
[Nick McGowan]: where being that light shared a lotfaster but it’s not it’s the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: no [Nick McGowan]: negative side and the darkness kind oftakes that stuff over um it also it’s
[Nick McGowan]: interesting to hear how you seem likethat type of person where you just you’re
[Nick McGowan]: fucking all in on the things you’reall in on
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: all [Nick McGowan]: and and being able to switch fromi’m not going to do this any more
[Nick McGowan]: hurt so now i’m going to helppeople and be able to do that i
[Nick McGowan]: get where some of that aggression comesfrom
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: m because yeah once you’re on thatpath and you’re running with it that’s huge
[Nick McGowan]: that’s the [Dr. Robb Kelly]: ye [Nick McGowan]: reason why i was asking about goingback to your parents
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: my mom is an alcoholic i don’tknow if she believes she is but it’s
[Nick McGowan]: there and i know that i’ve hadthose tendencies where i’ve recently actually stopped i
[Nick McGowan]: think it’s been forty five forty sevendays today but one of those things where
[Nick McGowan]: i noticed that there was a problemand
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: noticed it was coming from that andhaving that conversation with her she’s not ready
[Nick McGowan]: to have that conversation with herself [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: so that’s what i was asking therelationship that you have with your parents
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: i can get where you look atgo hey that must have been tough
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: you can talk [Nick McGowan]: but did you have that conversation withthem to know hey this is what i
[Nick McGowan]: got from you but that’s okay becausei’m working through
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: i [Nick McGowan]: it or was it fun you guysthat’s what you gave them
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: i was angry at the time [Nick McGowan]: may [Dr. Robb Kelly]: was on the street and they turnedthe back on me i was acting for
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: a long [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: time after that and it’s the onlywhen i had conversation with her mom something
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: happened when my dad when i [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: lost everything i went to my parentshouse and it lasted three days and my
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: dad threw me out to lock inthe mornin pa short
[Nick McGowan]: huh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: little colt he gave me ten poundsand said you’ve got to go some and
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: he locked the door behind me andever that house for many many years but
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: remember many years later when i satwith my mom and dad in the bar
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: you know around the corner in thein the club and i said so my
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: mom said you know that dad threwme out i was hated that man i
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: still do i think mom and thisis what she said something she
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: said so in fifty odd years ofbeing married to your father that’s the only
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: time i’ve seen him cry so i [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: knew he was hurt there both [Nick McGowan]: ah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: ways [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you know and i made my amendsand i said i’m sorry and you know
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: it’s not your guy’s fault because isuffer trauma and that has that they didn’t
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: know as trauma now when he [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: used to drop us off at theirfriends and when when my mom and dad
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: left the avenue going to the barwe used have to play the run around
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: naked game which meant [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i got dressed and the two adulttenere want
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: that thing that was trauma i didn’tthink
[Nick McGowan]: fuck [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i was many years ago i bodybuilding like england absolutely amazing body would never
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: take my top off what’s one withyou ucrinowi’m
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: too sure that because of the fuckingtrauma that suffered so
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: when you put them to together yourealize what an effect that the dramas that
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: weren’t close to strumas then [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: have such a huge part in yourlife today like if you if you want
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: to become somebody do something and you’renot doing it because of trying to go
[Nick McGowan]: i agree [Dr. Robb Kelly]: back and you to sort that shipout need to uncover discover and discard that
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: ship and that’s what i found withmom and dad is i made my my
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: men is properly with my dad [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: only about six years ago in fiveyears
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: ago simes and a year ago hedied never got to make an end to
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: my [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: she died maybe fourteen years ago nevergot to make amends but
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: we did have a few notes versations [Nick McGowan]: sure [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you know but it’s tough man youknow it’s tough
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: it’s just it’s crazy [Nick McGowan]: yeah and that’s that’s tough ship especially [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: you know you can’t see from otherpeople’s eyes you can theorize sometimes
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: like put [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: yourself into their shoes in a sensebut to hear from your mom that that
[Nick McGowan]: was the first time that she sawyour dad cry that’s not the angle that
[Nick McGowan]: you had the [Dr. Robb Kelly]: no [Nick McGowan]: angle you had was him slamming thedoor and
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: you being on your fucking own [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yep [Nick McGowan]: and knowing that there was that behindthat i love the human lidy of that
[Nick McGowan]: because that’s something that a lot ofpeople
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: no [Nick McGowan]: will kind of hide and that’s deeptrauma that trauma probably also stemmed from his
[Nick McGowan]: childhood as [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yes [Nick McGowan]: well as you alluded to you knowit
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yes [Nick McGowan]: a fucking gets back to the childo trauma
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: it does [Nick McGowan]: no how do you walk people [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: through on a smaller scale to beable to go back and deal with that
[Nick McGowan]: drama give us someting tactical for theaudience
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: we use a lot of tools togo back you see most of the trauma
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: first of all is not understood youdon’t know what trauma is and what the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: effect [Nick McGowan]: it’s [Dr. Robb Kelly]: has [Nick McGowan]: deep [Dr. Robb Kelly]: but the second one is locked inthe sub us brain because we
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: don’t really deal with trying to staystragitaway
[Nick McGowan]: okay [Dr. Robb Kelly]: if you look at a dear beinghit by a car but doesn’t die that
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: there [Nick McGowan]: h [Dr. Robb Kelly]: s something unusual [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: what happens if it stays on thefloor for a couple of seconds then he’ll
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: jump up and then what happens nextis very important to try he shakes violently
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: for about thirty seconds and he runsoff that day well across the same road
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: at the same car tomorrow same iwanna get hit because he has no fear
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: of that because he got rid ofhis trauma right there and then human beings
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: don’t do that we stuff it down [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: with stuff it down with [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: stuff it down so it’s about usingtools
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: like brain spot you’re our placidity andchanging your pathways and using somatic
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: experience and you know n l p [Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: an original psychology you go back takenback and all that work is unlike with
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: health only you can take them backand
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you need to deal with i goback to
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: that five or six year old feewhat’s going on and see what that was
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: and how i mean as an example [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i have ninety three pair of sneakersi don’t
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: know just by sneaks [Nick McGowan]: m like [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you [Nick McGowan]: sneakers [Dr. Robb Kelly]: know or why have you gone idon’t know just just by sneaks there was
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: trauma [Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: nick [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i was a kid about nine or [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: ten my mom can’t afford us andsucks all
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: but twice a year so towards thefive or
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: six months before we get new shoesi had holes in my shoes and holes
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: in my sock walking to school inthe snow now my mom used to cut
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: round cardboard box the shape of theshoe she used to put
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: the ship cardboard in i walked toschool but half way there it be soaked
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: through so i’ll be wet when thecouncillor said to me what about mom and
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: dad on friday and sat where dothey go and i said oh
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: they go to the pub to getdrunk with the friends
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: this is what she said to me [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: did mom and dad [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: have holes in their sucking shoes whenthey
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: went to the pub at nighttime bullyou
[Nick McGowan]: yah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: think you’ve opened a river i criedand cried and cried
[Nick McGowan]: man [Dr. Robb Kelly]: and cried but you see the effectthat i didn’t know today my wife thinks
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: i why you find so many fuckingsneakers
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: that’s because [Nick McGowan]: that’s why [Dr. Robb Kelly]: why found out that recently we [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: all have the tmait’sattack for any behaviorthat’s uncoverable
[Nick McGowan]: that’s a beautiful way to put thatto especially to be aware of it because
[Nick McGowan]: there are people that buy a lotof different things
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: ah [Nick McGowan]: and don’t [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: think about it they just think yeahi just really i’m into shoes that’s my
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: thing that’s what i’m in to it’sabout the extent that they
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: go with it instead of asking deeperand going deeper
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: to it than when [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: you go back through and you’ve relived through some of that trauma you’re not
[Nick McGowan]: actually sitting in it right you’re watchingthe movie what sort of
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: what sort of conversation are you havingwith little o u from the adult you
[Nick McGowan]: what’s that conversation sort of look like [Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: or [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: pieces [Dr. Robb Kelly]: that’s powerful [Nick McGowan]: of it you know [Dr. Robb Kelly]: as well as powerful now i meanwe have to walk people through this before
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: there’s [Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: any further damage [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: because trauma causes all sorts of crazystuff in the brain
[Nick McGowan]: m oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: and it also causes depression as weknow but most people don’t understand the brain
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: it comes to depression and stuff likethat we we need four chemicals every
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: day to produce every day and thisis trauma for you can’t you cannot you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: cannot achieve full happiness without these fourchemicals and you cannot have these four chemicals
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: while you have trina so you’ve gota look at dolphins
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: the gem dopamine reward pleasure thank youcomplaint somebody when he’s released saratonan is our
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: social belonging and sunlight oxitosones cudtining withhuman
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: beans so [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: what happens is somebody starts to getdepressed the depressed go to the doctor goes
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: to the doctor gives him an she goes on the medication thank
[Nick McGowan]: a [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you farmer suitable companies [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: now is stuck in the medication [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: thrust of his life now he getsback
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: to normal why the fuck is nobodyasking
[Nick McGowan]: ah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: the question hey johnny why fuck arizonalie n the first place
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: but he’s asking that that’s what [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: we do but he asked the question [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: that going oh wow yeah don’t sayi’m in the mouth
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: for this company i will fucking tanyou down if you try and put my
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: methods you know that’s just crazy i [Nick McGowan]: eh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: will tell you down with science iwill tell you down with over eight thousand
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: patients move out that are all recoveredfrom alcolisagot their own life but mind set
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: has changed whatever it is because it’sthe understanding
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: that [Nick McGowan]: a [Dr. Robb Kelly]: unless you have brain damage everybody becomea champion everybody can achieve the dreams every
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: single body that comes to me isa hunder per cent success right we’re the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: only company in the world as aninetyceven per cent success rate the rest are
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: about two or three percent we’re theonly company in the world that offer a
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: money back guarantee if you continue todo our program and reland the only company
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: in the world that does that whybecause we fucking now our ship we don’t
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: mix with em treating sense and andwe’ve got some great trainmen and it’s don’t
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: geting wrong that we use half ofa million from money into the so how
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: do we change that brain [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: and [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: centre nervassystm therefore behavior of the personthat needs to be here
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: only think is here and that’s [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: to learn behavior we got we gothuge mason jar we stuck a thousand fleas
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: in because i’ve heard of this experimenti didn’t believe it we put the screw
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: cap on we punched holes and weleft it for three days now fleas can
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: jump three or four for no problemsthen
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: we uncapped it not one fly inthat jumped higher than where the cat was
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: okay that’s pretty interesting [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: but what was mind [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: blowing is when they had babies inja the babies wouldn’t jump higher than where
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: the lid was and they’ve never seenthe lid
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: so see how we get this fromour parents and care
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: givers show your friends are showing yourfuture you know the people who hang around
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: with matter how many times have [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you on they always hang around witha bad crowd fuck what get him out
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: of there because it’s gonna [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: be what’s tucking wrong with you somehowsomewhere parents dropped the ball after the second
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: welwa about four or fifty years agothey did how to control the hat many
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: births and everything after the [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: second world war that you know nobodyknew about trauma
[Nick McGowan]: yeah i think everybody knew that therewas trauma it just people didn’t actually want
[Nick McGowan]: to suck and talk about it whichis part of the major issue
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: and you’re not talking about it thereforenobody else is talking about therefore the entire
[Nick McGowan]: group of humans aren’t really talking aboutit but there’s a small
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: no [Nick McGowan]: group now we’re starting to see someof that open up there are some people
[Nick McGowan]: i think are taking it too fuckingfar where they’re just almost
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: selfish with it instead of [Dr. Robb Kelly]: m [Nick McGowan]: looking for healing and to help otherswhat you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: talked about at a simple form it’snot solving the fucking symptoms it’s the problem
[Nick McGowan]: it’s solving [Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: the core problem that’s thing to do [Dr. Robb Kelly]: eh yeah [Nick McGowan]: were a lot of farmer suiticales andother companies like that they just want to
[Nick McGowan]: solve the symptoms [Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: or at least appease the symptoms becausethen
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: that keeps you coming back so ilove
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: exactly [Nick McGowan]: that i love the fact that you’relook
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: we’ve [Nick McGowan]: we’re gonna [Dr. Robb Kelly]: got you [Nick McGowan]: get straight to the fucking core yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i would well [Nick McGowan]: ah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: like people have called me aggressive beforei don’t give a ship by the way
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: but people do [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: because you’ve got to tell [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: truth you know [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: nobody’s telling the truth any more aboutthis illness or the disease
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: on depression like you said that thealcohol the food the sex upon everything mine
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: said depression everything is the [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: symptom of what’s really going on what’sthe
[Nick McGowan]: ok [Dr. Robb Kelly]: fun what’s fucking really going on hereyou know
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: why aren’t you performing at this leveland you only at this level and then
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: we find out that something as happenedin your life that you’ve hit that top
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: where the fleas couldn’t jump out andwhat we do
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: is were sucking take you out andfly you away to king the moon with
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: what [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you can do every human [Nick McGowan]: my [Dr. Robb Kelly]: being is capable of changing the worldevery human being you know
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: and i often get this as wellwell i can’t be president united states i
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: used to get that it’s like idon’t get
[Nick McGowan]: ah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: a fuck what your personal political viewsthat we had a business around the country

[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i can do it i would slapthem so fucking hard
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: they want no ideas be [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: mind set is everything you know itreally is there was there was a trial
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: at school in england many years agoand the scientific life came into the
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: school and they said we have atest and example hat will tell you the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: top three these eight nine ten yearold tell you the top three in your
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: school that are going to go onto
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: be captains of industries famous [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: million billionaire even this is back fouryears ago they said well we’d love to
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: know that so the next day theycame to give everybody a test sheet everybody
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: did the test [Nick McGowan]: kay [Dr. Robb Kelly]: they were all gathered up and hesaid we’ll be back tomorrow with the result
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: and he came back and he saidhere’s your top free johnny what’s johnny billy
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: is that billy and susan okay ican see susan we’ll be back in twelve
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: months time to see how it allwent so they turned up in twelve months
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: time how’s our three students and thehead master was like oh my god how
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: the hell did you know [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: once at an offer of college istwelve years old the other they all did
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: amazing these three students so they saidlisten we need to know about this chest
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: now we need to know we wecould sell it world wide and and the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: scientific research i said to him wellactually there wasn’t a test was our fake
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: we threw all the examples away inthe bend when we left here in the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: trash so they [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: had said i don’t understand how comethe three i don’t understand and the scientist
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: lives said the three are successful becauseyou thought it were successful
[Nick McGowan]: yep [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you treated them as successful because youdid so they become that’s
[Nick McGowan]: ah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: all there is to it you [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: know your friends look at the circlearound you dialogue with people and don’t give
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: a shit white people think i’m goingto start that
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: business off really you know i wasin dallas texas i’m tinging wit book guys
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: with my you’re not an author don’tbe stupid you can’t do that sexual years
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: to write a book never wrote abook i moved down to san antonio three
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: years ago new set of guys thinkingof it in a book fuck i would
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: so read that book i wrote abook so it’s really important the people around
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: us you will put that if ifyou’re on twenty grand a year and an
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: on forty start hanging around the guysat fort grand and so on and
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: so on and so on until youget to that place every mind can be
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: changed i re wired the brain andso does my stuff to every person that
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: wants to do and it’s simple everybodydoesn’t want to talk about it like you
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: said or don’t think the bad oryeah i’m not going to go and seek
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: help help for my depression and allmy because now that was embarrassed that’s
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: why we went to tally health fulltime it’s like i can get
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: in your mind within four minutes whenyou sat at home and your comfort pajamas
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: with you teas on the back dropin an office somewhere it’s amazing it’s all
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: about [Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: mind it’s all about human beings whatthey’re capable of doing because if you think
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: that you’re doing the best you canright now you’re operating on
[Nick McGowan]: you [Dr. Robb Kelly]: twenty [Nick McGowan]: are [Dr. Robb Kelly]: five per cent was [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: what you can be [Nick McGowan]: yeah absolutely and you know you’ve goneback a handful of times about having the
[Nick McGowan]: people around you but that starts withyou as the person
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: and you having a belief in yourselfthat there’s more
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: oh [Nick McGowan]: and that’s what i mentioned aout earliergetting to a point just like you live
[Nick McGowan]: through just like i’d live through andso many people you get to a point
[Nick McGowan]: were you go fuck this things haveto change
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: me [Nick McGowan]: and that’s on you to then takethat next step
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: but even that first step that nextstep just be talking to somebody having a
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: yeah [Nick McGowan]: conversation and that will start to incrementallygrow from there so what sort of advice
[Nick McGowan]: would you give to the audience that’son the path towards self mastery
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: well it’s all about you’ve got tounderstand the mirroring
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: part of the brain okay you knowsalesman us all the time and you cross
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: legs on cross legs you have thebeef all of the beef you have the
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: you know ship like that we allwant to fit in okay we all want
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: to fit in so again it’s it’sthe dialogue and it’s to hang in with
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: these people and make an effort tochange just like you’re just said in i
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: get up the morning you’re going tosay to yourself fuck this i want to
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: change see out the change be thatbe the changer everybody
[Nick McGowan]: hm [Dr. Robb Kelly]: in this world as the capacity capabilityand mentality and psychological
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: brain power to be a leader everybodydoes
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: okay what if you’re that leader [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: if not now when if not youwho c
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you’re a hundred times powerful [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: than you think you are [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: and everybody needs to be [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: led so everyone needs a leader whycan’t it be you so change that mindset
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: get a dialogue [Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: started because it like when i startedalcoholism
[Nick McGowan]: yeah [Dr. Robb Kelly]: i wasn’t going to talk to anybodyabout it i was ashamed i was embarrassed
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: but you don’t want to started talkingto like many people i go yeah but
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: i can’t stop drinking and the othergun said me too watched
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: you tube yeah so if i’m goingfor depression or mind set of just so
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: whatever it is and i start mixingwith like mine people then you kind of
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: joke about it i often tell igo to see a
[Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: therapist because i still have a therapistwent to one i said you’re an alcoholic
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: you said no but i’ve been tocollege and i said you can’t help me
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: i said when you mean you can’thelp me i can help you i’m highly
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: educated i said if you have abottle of vodka behind your back and i
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: wanted to drink do you know howto stab you in the face repeatedly until
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: you [Nick McGowan]: oh [Dr. Robb Kelly]: are dead to get that there’s noneed for that you’re no good to go
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: to the next guy you and ibeen through it all so if you had
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: a bottle of bove behind you andi stab you in the face what would
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: you do fuck me i do exactlysay you see the mirroring part belonging
[Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: to your tribe [Nick McGowan]: m [Dr. Robb Kelly]: find your tribe [Nick McGowan]: that’s a beautiful way to be ableto end this
[Dr. Robb Kelly]: m [Nick McGowan]: rob it’s been a pleasure to haveyou on man i appreciate the authenticity and
